June2022

The school holidays are quickly approaching, and we're sure you're trying to figure out what you'll do to keep your kids occupied and happy throughout the winter holidays. We've done the research and want to share some fantastic vacation activities and adventures with you.

Spend the day with us

For both parents and children, a ride on the City Sightseeing Red Double Decker is the most enjoyable day out.  The onboard engaging interactive audio channel will keep the kids entertained, while parents can rest and unwind without having to worry about parking or traffic. The one-day ticket covers 16 stops and gives you access to over 20 of Johannesburg's most popular attractions. You can get on and off the bus whenever you choose.

Our audio channel onboard is so much fun for the kids

Be sure to book our Kids Travel Free Package:  (Valid for SA Citizens and available online only)

Kids Travel Free on 1-day Classic tickets (valid on Green and Red lines). Pay R 265 for 1 adult and 2 children (normally R 555).  This ticket is available online or from the ticket office, valid on weekends, school holidays and public holidays.  To keep the kids entertained on our route, we would recommend hopping off at Zoo Lake and the Johannesburg Zoo, as well as Gold Reef City.  For the theme park though, we definitely recommend booking in advance.
