The 30-day clock only starts ticking the first time you scan the pass at an attraction in Cape Town. This means you can buy the pass weeks or months in advance to lock in the price, and it will remain "dormant" until your first day of sightseeing.

Can I use the Red Bus for multiple days if I have a 10-attraction pass?

On this specific pass, a "Classic Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Ticket" counts as one of your chosen attractions. Once you scan it for the bus, you get unlimited bus access for 1 calendar day. If you want to use the bus on a second day, it would cost you another "credit" from your pass.

I see almost 50 attractions listed—do I need to pre-select my 5, 7, or 10 choices?

You only choose the number of experiences you want at the time of purchase. You do not need to decide which specific spots to visit until you are standing at the entrance. This is ideal if you change your mind due to weather—for example, skipping a boat cruise for an indoor museum or chocolate tasting without needing to update your booking.

Can I visit the same attraction twice if I have credits left?

The Discover Cape Town Pass is valid for a single entry at each of your chosen attractions. For example, if you visit the Two Oceans Aquarium on Monday, you cannot use another credit to visit it again on Tuesday.
