The red bus booth won the Best Transport Operator 2016 Stand Award at the recent Cape Getaway Show.

The Cape Getaway Show is considered to be the Western Cape’s largest travel, outdoor and adventure event, and City Sightseeing Cape Town participated in the show at Lourensford Wine Estate from 1 to 3 April 2016.

The announcement of the award was made at the event. The criteria for judging the stands and awarding certificates were:

• Physical appearance of the exhibit
• Staff appearance and performance
• Promotional materialMarketing material and brochuresRetail promotions and savingsNew products, merchandise, servicesCompetitions and prizes
• Administration and management relationship

According to the Getaway Show team, “the City Sightseeing stand was very well presented, colourful, attractive and inviting, and so were the staff. They were very well presented, professional, greeted with a smile and attended to customers in a very helpful manner.

“We loved having them at the show and look forward to having them back in 2017.”
