Launched in July 2016, Pokémon GO has become the most downloaded app in one week, with more than ten million downloads within seven days of release. And while the app has yet to be officially launched in South Africa, it is already hugely popular among gamers and the like!

The augmented reality mobile app is location-based, encouraging users to explore their cities to “catch ’em all”. And what better way to do so than on a red bus? Find Pokémon GO hot spots from the V&A Waterfront to Kirstenbosch Gardens in Cape Town or hop on the red bus in Joburg – you’re likely to find PokéStops or Pokémon Go gyms along our tours.
