Greta and I have travelled extensively over the past few years and our stay at the colonial styled Mnt Nelson was fantastic. As one of the listings in \"1,000 places to see before you die\" we wanted to experience this famed hotel! They staff treat y... ou like royalty from the time you arrive. we loved the Cape Colony Restaurant, and the sunday brunch at Oasis. can be recommended

From the lush garden and exquisite pink exterior, to the warm, welcoming colonial interior (the building is well maintained), we enjoyed high tea. Have always wanted to do it and we reserved our seats upfront, that goodness for that. Extremely elegan... t and fine quality setting, food and service. I will most definitely do this again in the future. We arrived via the open top (no roof!) sightseeing bus - similar to the one in our Sydney. Abso-bloody-lutely the best!
