Clifton Beaches
Just a few minutes from Bantry Bay, lies Clifton Beaches, a secluded collection of four beaches naturally divided by boulders and rocks. First Beach is a favourite among the surfers and volleyball players and the Second and Third beaches are family-friendly and popular with the 20-somethings as well as the gay crowd. Clifton Fourth beach, however, is situated on the Camps Bay side, and is the biggest Clifton beach and most popular due to its calm waters and lifeguards.

Saunders' Rocks
Situated between Clifton’s famous beaches and Sea Point, Saunders' Rocks is a little beach below Bantry Bay. This unique little beach has its own lovely tidal pool for safe bathing. Like the rest of Bantry Bay, Saunders' Rocks is mostly wind-free.

The Beachfront Promenade
While the beaches are not ideal for swimming they provide nice spots for relaxing on the white sand in the sun and discovering rock pools. The Promenade runs the length of Sea Point’s beachfront, from Bantry Bay to Mouille Point and is the ideal place to walk, jog and watch the sunset. A maze, Putt-Putt course (mini golf) and kiddies train ride are located near the historic lighthouse on the Mouille Point side.
