SPOTTED AT THE AQUARIUM!
 Yoshi the Loggerhead Turtle
Visit Yoshi the LOGGERHEAD TURTLE at the I&J Predator Exhibit. Yoshi was confiscated from a boat in Table Bay Harbour in 1997, after getting caught in a trawler’s fishing net. When she first arrived at the Aquarium she was the size of a dinner plate, but now she weighs more than 120kg!

Yoshi is a carnivore and loves feeding on crabs and jellyfish, but on occasion she will eat seaweed. Feeding times are at 15h00 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

WHAT ANIMAL WAS SPOTTED ON TABLE MOUNTAIN THIS MONTH?
 Arum Lily Frog
Arum Lily Frog: If you look carefully, you might find an Arum Lily Frog hiding in an Arum Lily. Its bright orange legs can easily identify the frog.  The tiny frogs shelter in the flowers during the day. They use the pollen of the flowers to camouflage themselves. At night they crawl out of the flower to hunt for insects.  Please remember not to pick Arum Lily flowers or you might end up taking a frog home with you!
WHAT I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE RED BUS
City Sightseeing Cape Town bus
Do you know that our buses are running throughout June and July, with exception of the 21st June and 3rd July.  The top front section of most of our buses is covered over this period for extra protection if it rains or is really cold.  Remember to pack that warm jacket, beanie and scarf!

FACTS ABOUT CAPE TOWN
The Dock Clock Tower
The Dock Clock Tower, built in 1882, has been an icon on the docks for more than a century. This much-loved National Monument, restored in 1997, was the original office of the Port Captain. On the bottom floor is a tide-gauge mechanism used to check the level of the tides. On the second floor is a mirror room, giving the Port Captain a 360º view of all activities in the harbour.
