We extensively made use of the hop on-hop off facility on the Blue Tour part of the red sightseeing bus\'s tour offering - giving you the best way to see Cape Town - the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens is world-renowned for the beauty and div...
ersity of the Cape flora! Just looking at the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain - makes it worth a visit. Unique is the bookshop, restaurants, fauna and flora specialists and fantastic open-air sculpture setting. I found the long queues to the Kirstenbosch ticket office annoying and it is amazing that this has not been upgraded to handle more influx of people. (May I suggest that city sightseeing sells these from their site???!) - So little time, so much to do. Overall a fantastic place to wind down!

We arrived at Kirstenbosch via one or your tours (i think the blue scenic tour) and upon entering the huge garden scape I understood why Cape Town is famous for its harbour as well as its natural setting in the Cape floral kingdom, including such wel...
l-known landmarks as Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch. It was interesting to note that tours are available on golf carts offered by Kirstenbosch - carting one around over the steeper areas. But with the well layedout garden, stone pathways and ample shade, I can\'t see why anyone would need to be carted around. Well that is what I told my wife! We will come back next year, over June/July with the soccer and will then do the Red City Tour - up to Table Mountain we go. From there I hope to see \'my garden paradise\' again!
