Cape Sugarbird have long sharp beaks with which they love feeding off the nectar of the various species of Protea and Aloe plants. They also eat insects. Did you know that they have specially developed sharp claws to help them feed during strong winds in the Cape? Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (Stop 20) at the foot of Table Mountains is a great place to spot these birds!

| FACTS ABOUT CAPE TOWN |

Have you ever noticed the Old Man in the Mountain on Table Mountain? His face is clearly visible. Locals refer to him as d’Klipman (‘the stone man’) or Die Man Innie Berg (‘the man in the mountain’). A great way to see him is from our bus as we explore the city on the RED CITY TOUR!
