Respecting the environment in which we live, is one of our guiding principles and is deeply rooted in our culture.

City Sightseeing Cape Town has in particular been taking an active approach to protect our environment, with a strong focus on the sparing use of natural resources.

We seek to comply with international assurance standards such as the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes for the paper used on our marketing brochure.  

We deliver on these environmental assurance standards through strategic environmental goals and initiatives, such as:  

• 100% of vehicles used on our hop on/off circuit comply with Euro 2 standard for emissions and environmental impacts.
• Noise Management is managed by the introduction of multi-lingual system via earphones
• Earphones are recyled, thereby creating an employment initiative and reducing waste
• Goods are purchased in bulk, where possible, to reduce the amount of packaging and subsequent waste problems.
• Care is being taken to advise suppliers and associates of the environmental position of the business.
