Attractions

Camps Bay Beach Promenade

The beachfront of Camps Bay is a long stretch of white, palm tree-lined sand and along its length is a boulevard that forms part of a series of pavement cafés, bars and restaurants specialising in Mediterranean fare that has earned Camps Bay its trendy and cosmopolitan character. Enjoy a five-star meal at any one of the luxury dining establishments on the 'sunset strip' - as the Camps Bay beach locals affectionately know it. Soak up the sun and mingle with the pavement culture. Then later relax dining at a roadside table while watching the sunset in the horizon.

Clifton Beaches

Just a few minutes from Bantry Bay, lies Clifton Beaches, a secluded collection of four beaches naturally divided by boulders and rocks. First Beach is a favourite among the surfers and volleyball players and the Second and Third beaches are family-friendly and popular with the 20-somethings as well as the gay crowd. Clifton Fourth beach, however, is situated on the Camps Bay side, and is the biggest Clifton beach and most popular due to its calm waters and lifeguards.

Theatre on the Bay

For a bit of culture head to the Theatre on the Bay. A variety of local and international drama, comedy, cabaret and music shows are performed every evening. Situated on the first floor of the complex is the Act 1 Theatre Café, where you can enjoy a leisurely pre-show dinner. On site restaurant, Act 1 Theatre Café serves dinner from a small seasonal menu before and after the show as do numerous neighbouring venues.
